About Us...

Marengo Tool & Die Works was founded in 1946 as a family company through the partnership of Otto Tauck and Fred Struckmeier, Sr. We are now a 100% employee-owned company with all active employees participating.

We are still in our original location and building. At the time our business mainly serviced tool and die work and machining. Our company has expanded several times and now covers over 120,000 square feet of manufacturing, processing and warehousing space.

In the early years Marengo Tool & Die built several special machines to mill serrations into channel nuts for several industry foundational producers. This resulted in the company being introduced to the channel framing industry, which supplies commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the United States and Canada and World-Wide.

Through a coordinated network of companies, contractors, and distributors channel framing materials are efficiently marketed and sold to end users in the construction industry across America.
