ABOUT US

Marengo Tool & Die Works

Marengo Tool & Die Works was founded in 1946 as a tooling design, die production, and machine development company serving the building channel framing industry.

The company was established through the partnership of Otto Tauck and Fred Struckmeier, Sr., and originally focused on tool and die work and machining.

During the early years, Marengo Tool & Die designed specialized machinery used to produce serrated channel nuts for the emerging channel framing industry. This work introduced the company to a rapidly growing sector that supports commercial and industrial construction projects throughout North America.

From those early beginnings, the company expanded into full production of channel framing accessories including:

  • brackets
  • fittings
  • clamps
  • nuts
  • support hardware

Today, Marengo Tool & Die operates from its original Marengo, Illinois location and has expanded its facilities over the years to include large-scale manufacturing, processing, and warehousing space.

Our products continue to support a wide range of infrastructure and construction needs including mechanical systems, electrical distribution, plumbing installations, signage systems, solar infrastructure, and other industrial applications.
